Paneer Taash Kabab
Ingredients
- 400 gms Paneer (Cottage Cheese)
- 1 tbsp Fresh Cream
- 8 Cheese Slices
- 1 cup Grated Cheese
- 1/2 tsp Crushed Peppercorns
- 2 Medium-sized Tomatoes (sliced)
- 2 Medium-sized Onions (sliced)
- 8 tbsp Mint Chutney
For Marination
- 1/3 cup Hung Yogurt
- 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
- 4 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- Chaat Masala to taste
- Salt to taste

Preparation
- Slice paneer into even, thick pieces.
- Slice onions and tomatoes.
- Keep cheese slices and grated cheese ready.

Marinating the Paneer
- In a bowl, mix hung yogurt, mustard oil, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, chaat masala, and salt.
- Apply the marinade evenly over the paneer slices.
- Keep aside for 10 minutes.

Layering with Chutney & Vegetables
- Spread mint chutney evenly over the marinated paneer slices.
- Place sliced onions and tomatoes on each paneer slice.
- Cover with cheese slices.

Stacking the Taash Kabab
- Stack the prepared paneer layers one over the other, repeating the process.
- Mix fresh cream with crushed peppercorns.
- Pour this mixture evenly over the top layer.
- Place the final cheese slice on top.

Baking & Serving
- Bake in a preheated oven at moderate temperature for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and cut into equal desired pieces.
- Serve hot as a starter or snack.
