Potato Soup 2
Ingredients
- 2 medium-sized potatoes
- 1 turnip
- 1 tomato
- 2 tsp onion paste
- 1/4 tsp garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp ginger paste
- 4 tsp butter
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tsp coriander leaves (chopped)
- 2 glasses water
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp sugar

Preparation
- Boil the potatoes, turnip, and tomato until they are soft.
- Blend the boiled vegetables into a smooth puree.
- Strain the puree through a sieve for a silky texture.

Cooking the Soup
- Heat butter in a pan.
- Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add onion paste, ginger paste, and garlic paste.
- Sauté until the mixture turns golden.

Final Cooking
- Add the strained vegetable puree to the pan.
- Add coriander leaves, salt, pepper, and sugar.
- Mix well and bring the soup to a gentle boil.

- Serve hot, garnished with a little butter or fresh coriander if desired.
