Methiwala Chawal
A simple, aromatic rice dish infused with fresh methi leaves and mild spices.
Ingredients

**Main Ingredients
- 1 medium bunch fenugreek leaves
- 2 cups rice
- 1 tomato
- 4 cups water
- Salt to taste

**Spices
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

**For Cooking
- 7 tbsp oil
Instructions

**Prepare the ingredients
- Clean, wash, and chop the fenugreek leaves.
- Wash and chop the tomato.
- Wash the rice and soak it for about 20 minutes.

**Sauté the methi and spices
- Heat oil and add cumin seeds.
- Add methi leaves and fry for about 5 minutes.
- Add chopped tomato, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder.
- Fry until the tomato softens and oil separates.

**Cook the rice
- Add soaked rice, salt, and 4 cups of water.
- Cook on high flame until the first boil appears.
- Reduce heat and simmer until the rice is fully cooked.
- Serve hot.
