Garlic Rice
A simple and aromatic rice dish flavored with golden garlic, green chilies, and crunchy nuts, perfect as a side or light meal.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 tsp crushed garlic
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 2 tbsp cashew nuts
- 1 tbsp slivered almonds
- 1 tsp chopped fresh coriander
- 2 tbsp ghee
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Heat ghee in a heavy wok.
- Add garlic and green chilies, and sauté until the garlic turns golden.
- Add cashew nuts and almonds, and roast for 30 seconds.
- Stir in the cooked rice, sprinkle salt and pepper, and mix well.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
Serving Suggestion: Serve with raita, pickle, or any curry for a complete meal.
