Methi Pulao
A fragrant and wholesome pulao made with fresh methi leaves, peas, tomatoes, and soft paneer.
Ingredients

Main Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups basmati rice
- 1 cup green peas
- 50 g paneer (cubed and deep fried)
- 1 small bunch methi leaves (chopped)

Flavoring & Spices
- 2 tomatoes (chopped)
- Garlic flakes paste
- 2–3 green chilies (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Red chili powder to taste
- Salt to taste

For Cooking
- 1 tbsp oil or butter
- Water as needed
Instructions

Prepare the base
- Wash methi leaves thoroughly, drain, and set aside.
- Heat oil or butter in a pan, add garlic paste, and sauté until light brown.

Sauté vegetables and spices
- Add tomatoes and green peas.
- Mix in methi leaves, green chilies, salt, red chili powder, and turmeric powder.
- Stir-fry the mixture for 8–10 minutes.

Cook the pulao
- Add rice and fry for 5 minutes to coat it well with the masala.
- Pour enough water and pressure cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fried paneer and serve hot with chilled raita.
