Mooli Paratha
A flavorful North Indian stuffed paratha made with spiced radish filling and cooked to a crispy, golden finish.
Ingredients For Stuffing
- 3 radish (mooli)
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves
For Dough
- 2 cups wheat flour
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil for frying parathas
Instructions

Prepare the dough
- Sieve wheat flour and salt together.
- Add water gradually and knead into a stiff dough.
- Cover and keep aside to rest.

Prepare the stuffing
- Peel and grate the radish.
- Squeeze and remove all excess water.
- Heat a pan and lightly fry the grated radish until pale brown.
- Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, green chillies, and coriander leaves.
- Mix well and allow the stuffing to cool.

Fill and shape the paratha
- Take a portion of dough and roll into a small puri.
- Place about 2 tsp of stuffing in the center.
- Bring edges together to seal the stuffing.
- Roll again into a thick round paratha.

Cook the paratha
- Heat a tava and place the rolled paratha on it.
- Cook both sides until crispy and golden brown.
- Drizzle a little oil on both sides while cooking.

Serve
- Serve hot with raita or curry.
