Paneer Bhare Papad
A quick and crunchy snack where crisp papads are filled with a spicy paneer stuffing and served fresh.
Ingredients
- 4 moongdal papads
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese grated (paneer)
- 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
- 1 capsicum (finely chopped)
- 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
- 2 tblsp coriander leaves (finely chopped)
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- Oil for deep frying

**Preparing papads
- Cut each papad into halves and keep ready.

**Making the stuffing
- In a bowl mix grated paneer, chopped onion, capsicum, green chillies, coriander leaves, salt, and chaat masala thoroughly.

**Roasting papads
- Roast the papads one piece at a time over flame till crisp.

**Shaping
- While the papads are still hot, gently roll them into 1/2 inch diameter cylinders.

**Stuffing
- Carefully spoon the prepared paneer mixture into the rolled papads.

**Alternate frying method
- Apply little milk or water over the papad.
- Place stuffing on one side, roll tightly into a cylinder.
- Deep fry in hot oil till crisp and golden.

- Serve immediately as a crunchy starter or tea-time snack.
