Pears Jam
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg Ripe Pears
- 2 cups Water
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Citric Acid

Preparation
- Peel the pears, cut into small pieces, and soak in salted water for a few minutes.
- Drain the pears from the salted water.

Cooking the Jam
- Cook the pears with 2 cups of water on low-medium flame until tender and most of the water has evaporated.
- Mash the cooked pears to a smooth consistency.
- Add sugar and citric acid. Cook on low flame, stirring occasionally, until the syrup reaches one-thread consistency.

Storing
- Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars.
- Cover with wax paper and seal tightly with a cork or lid.
- Let it cool completely before storing.
