Pineapple Jam
Ingredients
- 250 gms Pineapple (cut into pieces)
- 250 gms Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Citric Acid
- 1/4 tsp Yellow Food Colour
- 2½ cups Water

Preparation
- Cut the pineapple into small pieces and keep aside.

Cooking the Pineapple
- Cook pineapple pieces with water on low flame until tender and only about 1 cup of water remains.

Adding Sugar
- Add sugar to the cooked pineapple.
- Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves completely.

Setting the Jam
- Add citric acid and food colour.
- Cook further, stirring often, until the jam reaches the setting consistency.

Storing & Serving
- Switch off the flame and allow the jam to cool slightly.
- Pour into a clean, dry jar and seal tightly.
- Use as a spread for bread, toast, or paratha.
