Peas and Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg Shelled Peas
  • 1/4 kg Mushrooms
  • 1 Small Capsicum
  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 Clove Garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  1. Preparation

    • Slice the onion finely and cut the capsicum into thin strips.
    • Crush the garlic.
  2. Cooking the Vegetables

    • Heat butter in a skillet over medium flame.
    • Sauté mushrooms, capsicum, and onion until slightly tender.
    • Add crushed garlic, salt, pepper, and chilli powder. Mix well.
    • Add fresh sweet peas and cook on low heat until tender.
  3. Serving

    • Serve hot with creamed potatoes or as a side dish.
