Pesarat Dosa

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Moong Dal
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2–3 Green Chillies
  • Salt to taste
  1. Preparation

    • Soak moong dal in plenty of water for 4–5 hours.
    • Drain the water and grind the dal in a mixer along with cumin seeds, salt, and water as required to get a smooth batter suitable for dosa.
  2. Making the Dosa

    • Heat a non-stick pan or dosa tawa.
    • Pour a ladle of batter and spread it evenly to form a thin dosa.
    • Cook on medium flame until golden brown on both sides.
    • Repeat with the remaining batter.
  3. Notes & Tips

    • In India, you can grind moong dal and cumin seeds dry from a local dry grinder and store in an airtight container.
    • Whenever you want to prepare dosa, just mix the dry powder with water and salt to make the batter.
