- 4 cups rice
- 3/4 cup urad dal

- 1/4 cup methi seeds
- 1/4 cup avalakki (poha)

- Salt as needed (added after fermentation)
Instructions

**Soak and grind the batter
- Soak rice, urad dal, methi seeds, and avalakki together for 3 hours.
- Grind the mixture to a smooth batter.

**Ferment the batter
- Leave the batter to ferment overnight.
- Add salt the next morning and mix well.

**Prepare the dosa
- Heat a dosa tawa and pour a ladleful of batter.
- Spread evenly to make a thin dosa.
- Cook until golden and serve hot.
