Mango Chutney 3

A sweet, tangy, ginger-packed chutney perfect for snacks and meals.

Ingredients 1/2 kg mango, peeled and coarsely chopped 1 cup raisins 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup vinegar 250 g ginger, finely chopped 1 clove garlic, chopped 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients

    • Mix the chopped mango, raisins, sugar, vinegar, ginger, garlic, and salt in a pot.
    • Stir well to combine all flavors.
  2. Cook the chutney

    • Bring the mixture to a boil.
    • Reduce heat and simmer gently for about 45 minutes.
    • Cook until the chutney thickens and reaches a jam-like consistency.
