Green All Purpose Chutney
A versatile and flavorful chutney made with green chillies, coriander, and a hint of jaggery — perfect as a dip, spread, or side.
Ingredients
- 15 green chillies
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 tbsp sev or crushed potato wafers
- 1/2 tsp jaggery
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 garlic clove
Method
- Add all the ingredients, except oil, to a small mixie jar.
- Heat oil, add a pinch of asafoetida, and then pour it into the mixie.
- Grind everything into a smooth chutney.
- Use little to no water while grinding to help the chutney last longer.
- Add water only as needed for consistency.
- Store in a clean glass bottle and refrigerate.
Note: Sev is a crispy fried Indian snack made from gram flour.
