Masala Poori
Masala Poori is a spiced, flavorful deep-fried Indian bread perfect for breakfast or festive meals.
**Ingredients
- Wheat flour – 1 cup
- Oil – 2 tsp + extra for frying
- Salt – to taste
- Ajwain – 1/4 tsp
- Asafoetida – a pinch
- Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp

**Prepare the dough
- Sieve wheat flour and salt
- Add oil, ajwain, asafoetida, red chilli powder and mix well
- Add water gradually and knead into a firm dough
- Cover and rest the dough for 30 minutes

**Shape the pooris
- Divide the dough into small portions
- Roll each portion into small round pooris

**Fry and serve
- Heat oil in a kadhai
- Deep fry each poori until puffed and golden
- Serve hot with any curry of your choice
