Ingredients

  • 500 gms Khoya (Mawa)
  • 300 gms Sugar
  • 3 Drops Colour
  • 8–10 Pista slices
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • Cookie Mould

Method

  1. Grate the khoya.
  2. Powder the sugar.
  3. Mix khoya and sugar together in a skillet.
  4. Heat on low flame, stirring continuously.
  5. Cook until the mixture thickens; it should form a very soft lump.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes.
  7. Add cardamom powder and colour. Mix well.
  8. Take a small fistful of the mixture.
  9. Form a ball and press into the cookie mould.
  10. Turn out carefully.
  11. Press 2–3 slices of pista on the centre.
  12. Repeat for the remaining mixture.
