Mushroom Soup
A creamy, comforting, and flavorful soup made with sautéed mushrooms and mild seasonings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups mushrooms
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- 1 cup milk
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/4 tsp salt

Sauté the Mushrooms
- Melt butter in a pan.
- Add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.

Prepare the Base
- Add vegetable stock and increase the heat.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Remove the mushroom mixture from heat.

Combine and Cook
- Gradually pour the hot mushroom mixture back into the pan, stirring constantly to avoid curdling.
- Add milk, salt, and black pepper.
- Reheat the soup uncovered, stirring continuously.
- Ensure the soup does not boil.
