Mixed Vegetable Salad
A light, colourful, and nutritious salad made with steamed vegetables and fresh seasonings.
Ingredients
- 50 g French beans
- 3–4 carrots
- 1 small cabbage
- 100 g broccoli (florets)
- 1 capsicum
- Salt to taste
- 1 tomato (thin rings)
- 2 green chillies (slit)
- Finely chopped coriander leaves
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Black pepper powder to taste
Instructions

Prepare and steam the vegetables
- Cut French beans, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, and capsicum as required.
- Steam all the cut vegetables until they are cooked yet firm.

Mix the salad
- Add steamed vegetables to a bowl.
- Add tomato rings and slit green chillies.
- Add salt, black pepper powder, and lemon juice.
- Mix everything well.

Garnish and serve
- Top with finely chopped coriander leaves.
