Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bacon and Fried Egg

A hearty and indulgent sandwich layered with crispy bacon, gooey cheese, and a perfectly fried egg — comfort food at its best.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1 egg
  • 2 slices bread (any kind)
  • Butter
  • Cheddar cheese, sliced

Method

  1. Fry the bacon until crispy, drain on paper towels, and set aside.
  2. Wipe out the pan and fry the egg to desired doneness (leaving the yolk slightly runny adds extra flavor).
  3. Heat a flat griddle over medium-high heat.
  4. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  5. Assemble the sandwich with cheese, egg, and bacon, keeping the buttered sides facing out.
  6. Place the sandwich on the hot griddle and cook until golden brown.
  7. Flip carefully and cook the other side until the cheese melts.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • If making multiple sandwiches, reduce the heat slightly between batches to prevent burning before the cheese melts.
