Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bacon and Fried Egg
A hearty and indulgent sandwich layered with crispy bacon, gooey cheese, and a perfectly fried egg — comfort food at its best.
Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon
- 1 egg
- 2 slices bread (any kind)
- Butter
- Cheddar cheese, sliced
Method
- Fry the bacon until crispy, drain on paper towels, and set aside.
- Wipe out the pan and fry the egg to desired doneness (leaving the yolk slightly runny adds extra flavor).
- Heat a flat griddle over medium-high heat.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Assemble the sandwich with cheese, egg, and bacon, keeping the buttered sides facing out.
- Place the sandwich on the hot griddle and cook until golden brown.
- Flip carefully and cook the other side until the cheese melts.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- If making multiple sandwiches, reduce the heat slightly between batches to prevent burning before the cheese melts.
