Parippu Curry
Ingredients
- 1 cup Lentils (Parippu / Moong Dal)
- 3 cups Water
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tsp Ghee
- Salt to taste

Preparation
- Lightly sauté the lentils in a dry pan until aromatic.
- Wash the lentils thoroughly in plain water.

Cooking the Lentils
- Boil water in a pot.
- Add the washed lentils and turmeric powder.
- Reduce the flame and cook until the lentils are soft and fully cooked.

Seasoning
- Add salt to taste and ghee.
- Stir well to combine.

Final Cooking
- Simmer for another minute to blend the flavors.
- Switch off the flame.

Serving
- Serve hot with steamed rice, papad, and pickle.
