Peanut Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Peanuts
  • 2–3 Green Chillies (adjust to taste)
  • A few Coriander Leaves
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar or Jaggery as per taste
  • Lemon Juice (for serving)
  1. Preparation

    • Soak peanuts in a little water for 30 minutes.
    • Shell the peanuts and keep aside.
    • Chop green chillies and coriander leaves.
  2. Making the Chutney

    • Blend peanuts, green chillies, and coriander leaves into a smooth paste.
    • Add cumin powder, salt, and sugar or jaggery. Blend again until well combined.
  3. Serving

    • Add a little lemon juice just before serving.
    • Serve fresh with idli, dosa, or snacks.
