Lahsun Ki Chutney

A fiery and flavorful Rajasthani-style garlic chutney that adds a spicy punch to rotis, parathas, or snacks.

Ingredients

  1. 2 heads of garlic (peeled and separated into cloves)
  2. 6–8 tbsp red chili powder
  3. ¼ tsp fennel seeds (toasted and ground)
  4. Juice of 1 lemon
  5. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients

    • Peel and separate the garlic cloves.
    • Toast the fennel seeds lightly and grind them into a fine powder.
  2. Make the Chutney

    • Combine the garlic cloves, red chili powder, ground fennel seeds, lemon juice, and salt in a blender.
    • Add very little water—just enough to blend smoothly into a thick paste.
  3. Chill and Store

    • Transfer the chutney into an airtight container.
    • Chill it before serving for enhanced flavor.
    • This chutney keeps well for 2–3 days when refrigerated.

Serving Suggestion: Serve Lahsun Ki Chutney with bajra roti, pakoras, or as a spicy side to any Indian meal.
