Jaggery Dosa

Ingredients

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 1 cup jaggery
  • 1/2 coconut, grated
  • 5–6 cardamoms, powdered
  • Ghee as required

Method

  1. Heat 2 cups of water in a vessel, add jaggery, and stir until fully dissolved.
  2. Remove from the stove and let it cool slightly.
  3. Add wheat flour, rice flour, grated coconut, and cardamom powder. Mix well to form a smooth batter.
  4. Heat a tawa, pour a ladleful of batter slightly thick, and drizzle ghee on top.
  5. Cook on medium flame until light red, flipping gently to cook both sides.
  6. Serve warm.
