Honey Cake
A soft, moist, and mildly sweet eggless honey cake made with honey and butter. This version retains the rich flavor and light texture, making it perfect for teatime or a simple homemade dessert.

Ingredients
- 8 oz Flour
- 4 oz Honey
- 3 oz Butter (softened)
- 3 oz Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 cup Thick Curd (yogurt) or Applesauce (egg substitute)
- 1/4–1/2 cup Milk (as needed)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence (optional)

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Grease and line a cake tin.

Prepare the Base
- Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add honey and mix well.
- Add curd (or applesauce) and vanilla essence, mixing until smooth.

Add Dry Ingredients
- Sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda together.
- Gradually fold into the wet mixture.
- Add milk as required to form a smooth, pourable batter.

Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

- Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing.
- Optionally drizzle warm honey over the cake for extra flavor.
