Honey Cake
Ingredients
- 8 oz flour
- 4 oz honey
- 2 eggs
- 3 oz butter
- 3 oz sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
Method
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the beaten eggs gradually, mixing well.
- Beat in the honey.
- Sift flour with baking powder and fold into the mixture.
- Pour into a prepared shallow cake tin.
- Bake in a moderate oven for about 45 minutes.
