Honey Cake

Ingredients

  • 8 oz flour
  • 4 oz honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 oz butter
  • 3 oz sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Method

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the beaten eggs gradually, mixing well.
  3. Beat in the honey.
  4. Sift flour with baking powder and fold into the mixture.
  5. Pour into a prepared shallow cake tin.
  6. Bake in a moderate oven for about 45 minutes.
