Paneer Subji in Microwave

Ingredients

  • 200 gms Paneer (cut into 1/2-inch cubes)
  • 1 Capsicum (cut into thin long strips)
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 5–6 Garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Puree
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 3/4 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander (Dhania) Powder
  • Salt to taste
  1. Preparation

    • Cut paneer into 1/2-inch cubes.
    • Slice capsicum into thin long strips.
    • Crush the garlic cloves.
  2. Preparing the Masala Base

    • Heat oil in a small frying pan on medium flame.
    • Add crushed garlic and sauté until aromatic.
    • Add tomato puree, salt, sugar, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and garam masala.
    • Mix well and cook for a minute.
  3. Adding Capsicum

    • Add sliced capsicum to the masala.
    • Sauté for 1 minute until slightly softened yet crunchy.
  4. Adding Paneer & Microwaving

    • Add paneer cubes and mix gently to coat with the masala.
    • Transfer the mixture to a microwave-safe bowl.
    • Microwave uncovered on High for 3 minutes.
  5. Serving

    • Carefully remove from the microwave.
    • Serve hot with roti or steamed rice.
