Instant Onion Rice
Ingredients
- 4 big onions
- 2 cardamoms
- 1 cup rice
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- Mustard seeds (for seasoning)
Method
- Heat oil in a pressure pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- Add onions and fry until they turn transparent.
- Add cardamom, chilli powder, salt, and rice along with two glasses of water.
- Cover and cook for about 15 minutes until the rice is done.
- Serve hot with aloo fry.
