  • 4 big onions
  • 2 cardamoms
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Mustard seeds (for seasoning)
  • Oil, as required

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Seasoning:

    • Heat oil in a pressure pan.
    • Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Fry the Onions:

    • Add sliced onions and fry until they turn transparent.
  3. Add Spices and Rice:

    • Stir in cardamom, chilli powder, salt, and rice.
    • Add two glasses of water and mix well.
  4. Cook the Rice:

    • Cover the pressure pan and cook for about 15 minutes, or until the rice is fully done.
