Hummus
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg Kabul channa
- 1 cup olive oil
- Lemon juice (to taste)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- Salt to taste
Method
- Soak the channa overnight.
- Next day, boil in enough water till well cooked and then drain well.
- Grind channa to a smooth paste, blending in oil, lemon juice, salt, and sesame seeds.
- Spread on a flat platter and sprinkle with more sesame seeds and 1 tablespoon of oil.
- Chill and serve with bread.
