Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg Kabul channa
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • Lemon juice (to taste)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Soak the channa overnight.
  2. Next day, boil in enough water till well cooked and then drain well.
  3. Grind channa to a smooth paste, blending in oil, lemon juice, salt, and sesame seeds.
  4. Spread on a flat platter and sprinkle with more sesame seeds and 1 tablespoon of oil.
  5. Chill and serve with bread.
