Fruit Delight Pudding
A colorful and creamy pudding made with cake, custard, fruits, jelly, and cream — a delightful treat for any celebration.
Ingredients
- 1 cup red jelly
- 1 cup green jelly
- 1 tin mixed fruit
- 1 small cake
- 3 cups fresh cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp custard powder
- 4 tsp sugar
- 1 orange
- 1 apple
- 1 cup grapes
- 1 slice pineapple
Method
- Mix custard powder in a little cold milk.
- Boil the remaining milk, then add the dissolved custard powder while stirring continuously.
- Add sugar and cook until the mixture thickens. Remove from flame and let it cool.
- Beat the cream until frothy.
- Chop the orange, apple, grapes, pineapple, and other fruits into small pieces.
- Cut the cake into small cubes.
- Prepare the red and green jellies as per packet instructions.
- In a large bowl, combine cake pieces, fresh fruits, tinned mixed fruits, custard, half of the jelly, and half of the cream. Mix gently.
- Refrigerate the mixture until set.
- Once set, garnish with the remaining jelly and cream.
- Serve chilled.
