Patta Gobhi Mattar
Ingredients
- 1 small Cabbage (approx. 450 gms), chopped
- 1 small Onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup Green Peas (Matar)
- 1–2 Green Chillies, chopped
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- Cooking Oil as required

Preparation
- Chop the cabbage into thin strips.
- Slice the onion thinly.
- Chop green chillies and measure the spices.

Tempering & Cooking Onions
- Heat oil in a wok or kadai on medium flame.
- Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.

Cooking the Cabbage & Peas
- Add chopped green chillies and cabbage. Mix well.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, and salt. Stir to coat evenly.
- Cover and cook for 3–4 minutes on low flame.
- Add green peas and cook until the cabbage is tender and all water has evaporated.

- Serve hot with chapati, roti, or paratha.
