Cocktail Sauce

A zesty and tangy Cocktail Sauce recipe — a classic condiment made with ketchup, horseradish, and lemon juice, perfect for serving with shrimp, seafood, or party appetizers.

Ingredients

For the Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • A few dashes of hot sauce (optional)
  • Salt – to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper (optional)

Method

Step 1: Mix the Base

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add the ketchup and horseradish.
  2. Stir well to combine evenly.

Step 2: Add Flavor Enhancers

  1. Add lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. If using, add a few dashes of hot sauce for extra heat.
  3. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Step 3: Blend and Chill
