Cocktail Sauce

A zesty and tangy Cocktail Sauce recipe — a classic condiment made with ketchup, horseradish, and lemon juice, perfect for serving with shrimp, seafood, or party appetizers.

Ingredients

For the Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • A few dashes of hot sauce (optional)
  • Salt – to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper (optional)

Method

  1. Mix the Base

    • In a medium mixing bowl, add the ketchup and horseradish.
    • Stir well to combine evenly.
  2. Add Flavor Enhancers

    • Add lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce.
    • If using, add a few dashes of hot sauce for extra heat.
