Plot

Bedara Kannappa is based on the life of the legendary devotee of Lord Shiva, Kannappa who is closely associated with Srikalahasteeswara. The movie follows the story of a hunter named Kannappa, who becomes a devotee of Lord Shiva and dedicates his life to serving him.

The film begins with a young Kannappa hunting animals in the forest. One day, he witnesses a miracle when he sees Lord Shiva in the form of a hunter. From that day on, Kannappa becomes a devotee of Lord Shiva and starts offering him meat as a form of worship.

However, when Kannappa tries to offer the same meat to the idol of Lord Shiva in the temple, he is stopped by the priests who are disgusted by his act. This leads to a conflict between Kannappa and the temple priests, and Kannappa decides to prove his devotion to Lord Shiva by offering his own eyes to the deity.
